WTF!Olive oil?!Are you fucking serious Ramsay?!Olive oil(as much as I love it)is not suitable to cook curry? or any other Indian recipes AT ALL!!Just go and ask as many Indian expert chefs and they’ll tell you IT’S ABSURD!Even the Brits don’t use olive oil in their curry recipes!Kinda like using a curry powder to cook Spaghetti!UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Aren’t they on some sort of military base? Maybe they didn’t have access to clarified butter. It also seems like he’s concerned with nutrition in this clip. (It’s the 1st time I’ve ever? heard him talk about nutritional benefits.) So, maybe the choice of Olive Oil was deliberate.

@Beeguiling Oh trust me, there are other? oils that’s healthy like corn oil,sunflower oil,canola and many more.A lot of western pro chefs always suck at cooking Indian,and Middle East cuisines.
