I understand the resting part, but how do you prevent the turkey from getting cold while resting? Especially if you are resting it for three hours. Nothing worse than having to reheat the turkey.

@7flyinghecks you cover the turkey loosely with aluminum foil so it still stays warm. i dont know about resting it for 3 hours though.

just cover your turkey in foil, and put it on top the oven, and it will stay warm for ages, your mouth will appreciate something close to body temperature.
